EAST INDIA
Eligibility Criteria
The applicant must be an Indian citizen.
There is no age restriction.
The research work should be original, focusing on conventional
and/or modern aspects of Plant Breeding and Genetics, conducted within the North Eastern
Region of India.
The research outcomes must demonstrate potential to enhance
production, productivity, sustainability of the production system, or significantly advance
scientific knowledge in Plant Breeding and Genetics.
The applicant should have at least one research paper published or
accepted in a peer-reviewed journal with a NAAS rating of 6 or above.
Once selected, the awardee will not be eligible to apply for the
next five years.
